Investment Banking Analyst

A leading global independent investment bank is seeking an Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join its Frankfurt team.

The team advises corporates and financial sponsors on complex M&A and strategic transactions across a broad range of sectors. Analysts work in lean deal teams, offering significant transaction exposure, early responsibility and close interaction with senior bankers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute live M&A transactions from preparation through completion
• Build financial models, valuations and strategic analyses
• Prepare transaction materials, presentations and deal documentation
• Support due diligence and coordinate with clients, buyers, investors and advisors
• Develop broader sector and transaction expertise through a generalist M&A model

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant investment banking or M&A experience
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Previous exposure to live transaction execution
• Excellent academic background and attention to detail
• Professional fluency in German and English
