Associate

A hands-on mid-market private equity investor is seeking an Associate to join its Amsterdam team.

The firm invests across the Benelux and DACH, partnering with businesses through expansion, succession and carve-out situations. Its approach goes beyond transaction execution, with investment professionals working closely with entrepreneurs and management teams on buy-and-build, international growth and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across the Benelux and DACH
• Own financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and key transaction workstreams
• Work directly with entrepreneurs and management teams throughout transactions
• Support portfolio companies on acquisitions, growth initiatives and value creation

Requirements

• Relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A or transaction advisory
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in hands-on investing
• Professional fluency in German and English
